As a Business Development Analyst at UMusic Hotels, you will play a crucial role in supporting our international expansion efforts. With 2-3 years of experience in hospitality or related industries, you will contribute to market research, competitor benchmarking, and the analysis of potential hotel development projects. Working closely with senior team members, you'll assist in preparing business cases and supporting strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
· Market Research Support: Assist in conducting global market research to help identify growth opportunities and industry trends in the hospitality and entertainment sectors. Support the analysis of competitor landscapes and help assess the viability of entering new markets.
· Project Involvement: Collaborate with the Business Development team on the evaluation and support of new hotel projects, ensuring alignment with UMusic Hotels’ vision of integrating music and culture. Assist in the preparation of financial models, feasibility assessments, and project documentation.
· Strategic Partnerships Support: Contribute to the identification of potential partners in the music, entertainment, and cultural industries. Support initial outreach efforts and help prepare materials for partnership discussions, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
· Reporting & Presentations: Support the preparation of presentations and internal reports for leadership, providing data-driven insights on projects, markets, and opportunities. Help translate research findings into clear and concise materials for internal decision-making.
· Experience Innovation Assistance: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new ways of integrating musical and cultural experiences into hotel operations. Support monitoring efforts and propose improvements based on guest feedback and data insights.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
· 2–3 years of professional experience in business development, market research, or project coordination within the hospitality, tourism, or entertainment sectors.
· Some familiarity with project evaluation and basic financial modeling; experience in hospitality-related projects is a plus.
· Interest in and basic knowledge of the music and culture industries, with a strong motivation to grow in these areas.
· Analytical mindset with an ability to interpret data and contribute to business insights.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English (Advanced level). Spanish fluency is a plus.
· Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and collaborating across departments.
