Como Housekeeping manager (Gobernanta), dirigirás y motivarás a un equipo encargado de garantizar un alto nivel de limpieza y servicio en todo el hotel. 
Siendo responsable de la gestión diaria de las operaciones de limpieza en el esfuerzo continuo del hotel por ofrecer un servicio excepcional a los huéspedes, también supervisarás el rendimiento financiero de las operaciones del departamento de limpieza y la eficiencia del servicio de lavandería. 

¿Qué tendrás que hacer?

 

  • Planificar, programar y organizar el trabajo para garantizar una cobertura adecuada por parte del personal de planta. 
  • Apoyar al personal de planta en la limpieza y preparación de habitaciones, en caso de urgencia, incidencia o necesidad. 
  • Supervisar las zonas comunes (vestíbulo, salones, pasillos, etc.) y las habitaciones del hotel preparadas y limpiadas por el personal de planta (empresas propias o subcontratadas). 
  • Organizar periódicamente las limpiezas generales del hotel así como comunicar al departamento de mantenimiento los elementos a arreglar. 
  • Colaborar con el departamento de recepción en la asignación de habitaciones específicas en función de los requisitos o características particulares de los huéspedes.  
  • Supervisar el inventario y control de todos los materiales del departamento de pisos (limpieza, amenities, etc.).
  • Controlar los gastos dentro de todas las áreas de limpieza y participar en la preparación del presupuesto anual del departamento. 
  • Desarrollar y aplicar procedimientos para gestionar la calidad de los servicios de limpieza y lavandería. 
  • Gestionar y controlar los comentarios, sugerencias y quejas de los huéspedes, creando y ejecutando planes de acción. 
  • Supervisar y realizar las tareas de mantenimiento higiénico sanitario preventivo.  
  • Reclutar, entrevistar y formar a los miembros del equipo. 
  • Proporcionar supervisión, feedback y reconocimiento a los miembros del equipo sobre su rendimiento y desarrollo. 
¿Qué buscamos?

 

  • Al menos 1-2 años de experiencia desarrollando funciones similares, preferiblemente en un hotel de tamaño y complejidad similares. 
  • Título de bachillerato o formación equivalente. 
  • Imprescindible dominio del idioma local, valorándose muy positivamente el conocimiento del inglés. 
  • Conocimientos prácticos de varios programas informáticos (Microsoft Office, etc.).

POSITION SUMMARY Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards. Run sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
