Who are we looking for…?
Do you consider yourself a technically skilled, detail-oriented and solution-driven professional with a passion for keeping facilities in perfect condition? As a Maintenance Specialist, you will play a key role within the Engineering Department, ensuring the proper operation, upkeep and safety of the resort’s facilities. Your expertise and commitment will directly contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience while upholding the highest standards of quality and luxury.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the resort’s facilities, systems and equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing technical issues in areas such as electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and basic mechanical work.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent technical failures.
- Responding to and following up on assigned work orders using internal maintenance systems.
- Ensuring proper use, care and storage of tools, equipment and materials.
- Collaborating with other engineers and specialists to resolve complex maintenance issues.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety and operational procedures and standards.
- Maintaining clear communication with other departments to coordinate interventions with minimal impact on the guest experience.
- Participating in facility improvement projects, renovations and upgrades when required.
- Maintaining cleanliness, order and a professional appearance in technical and work areas.
What we are looking for…
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or Specialist, preferably in hotels, resorts or high-volume environments.
- Hands-on knowledge in multiple technical disciplines (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, masonry or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide safe and effective solutions.
- Proactive, responsible and service-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet high operational standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- Basic knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
- Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English is a plus.
- Valid work permit for Spain.
