Funciones requeridas

Minor Europe & Americas selecciona a estudiantes interesados en realizar prácticas en Departamento de Ventas (Touroperación y Online Travel Agencies), ubicado en Madrid, para la Unidad de Negocio del Sur de Europa (que engloba los destinos de España, Andorra, Portugal, Francia Italia, Túnez y USA). La persona en prácticas colaborará con el departamento ejerciendo las siguientes funciones:

OTAs:
- Gestión y mantenimiento de diferentes IDS (Internet Distribution Systems) con los que colaboramos.
- Evaluación de las características de los mercados locales, tendencias y principales drivers.
- Análisis de oportunidades en los diferentes hoteles y destinos de la Unidad de Negocio.
- Aportar valor a los hoteles, siendo capaz de identificar, transmitir y priorizar sus necesidades comerciales.
- Aplicación de acciones comerciales.
- Control de la competitividad y el posicionamiento de los hoteles en los diferentes IDS.
- Apoyo al resto del equipo en la gestión de cuentas y en la elaboración de campañas/ofertas y su distribución, así como en el desarrollo comercial con los market managers locales.
- Análisis y Gestión de estadísticas de producción.
- Interactuación con diferentes departamentos de la Unidad de Negocio.

TTOO:

- Negociación y contratación de los TTOO más importantes del mercado nacional e internacional.
- Establecer contacto con los principales clientes para realizar seguimientos y solucionar incidencias
- Actualizar distintos cuadros de contratación en formato Excel.
- Solicitar cargas de contratos en TMS (SAP)

- Contacto con el departamento de Revenue Management para adaptar las acciones comerciales a las necesidades de cada hotel o región
- Sacar reportes de distintos sistemas (Duetto, TMS…)

MICE Portals & B2B Digital Sales

- Dar soporte al departamento encargado del mantenimiento de los portales para eventos y grupos de empresa

- Dar soporte al departamento encargado de los nuevos desarrollos de nuestra web para B2B

La persona en prácticas adquirirá conocimientos sobre:

- Canales de Distribución Online y Offline en Hotelería.
- Uso de sistemas, herramientas y aplicación de acciones de distribución online.

- Uso de campañas y acciones comerciales de distribución a turoperadores

- Negociación y contratación de turoperadores
- Gestión de diferentes extranets de OTAs.
- Formulación de soluciones comerciales ante las necesidades de los hoteles.
- Comunicación comercial en inglés.
- Estrategias Revenue Management y de Distribución.

- Funcionamiento de la distribución de tarifas tanto dinámicas como fijas

- Visión muy completa del entorno comercial de distribución de una cadena hotelera

Requisitos

* Formación Académica:
- Cursando la Grado de Turismo, Grado en ADE, Doble Grado en Turismo y ADE o Turismo y Marketing; o Máster relacionado con el sector.

* Conocimientos Específicos:
- Inglés nivel alto.
- Conocimientos a nivel usuario del paquete Microsoft Office.

* Perfil Requerido:
- Capacidad de organización.
- Self-awareness.
- Orientación al detalle

The Sales & Events Intern will work as a team member to create the most professional sales team in Nobu Hotel Barcelona. He/She will be of support to the Sales & Events team. The Intern must demonstrate high energy levels & provide consistently high levels of customer service and accurate and detailed work, whilst also working with Events Executive/Manager to establish and develop solid relationships with the decision makers within the market. General responsibilities • To handle guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests. • To maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contract and quotes for the hotel as per Hotel policies and procedures. • To ensure that the hotel’s database is up to date. • Provide accurate and timely & handovers to front office complete with rooming list, breakfast vouchers and welcome letters. • Liaise with events executive/managers on any corporate, leisure or group issues and action as required, maintaining communication internally. Specific Duties & Tasks • Learn all aspects of the Nobu hotel Barcelona and all pertaining points of interest of the destination • Learn hotel room categories, features, and the restaurant’s menu. • Learn and perform all aspects of marketing: creating collateral, updating the website, support the PR team, support events, participate in marketing operations meetings, handle marketing calendar, etc. • Support the Events team in proceeding to site inspections and organizing events. • Follow-up on client’s requests, pro-forma invoices, rooming-lists, payments of deposits and outstanding balances, etc. • Maintain complete records of all sales agreements, contracts, and quotes. • Ensure that the hotel’s database is up to date. • Negotiate with clients and draft proposals after the sale has been executed. • Collaborate with Sales & Events Executives/Managers on corporate, leisure or group issues by taking required actions and maintaining internal communication. • Attend and participate in all departmental meetings, training sessions and other information meetings as and when requested to do so.
