Hyde Ibiza is a festival-inspired food lovers paradise and showcase for music and nightlife, featuring 401 rooms with natural textures and artisan touches.

Together the properties will have 7 restaurant and bar outlets, ranging from premium sushi and an ocean-to-table Balearic fare, all of them highly programmed.

The hotels are operated by Ennismore, the fastest growing lifestyle hospitality company, in collaboration with Grupo Azul Mar Cala Llonga owned by Apollo.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes in accordance with the standards set by the kitchen.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
  • Learn and apply various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and plating.
  • Support the team in monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper storage, and minimizing waste.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Participate in daily kitchen briefings to understand the menu and special requirements for each service.
  • Assist in the development and testing of new menu items, collaborating with the team to ensure creativity and consistency.
  • Gain hands-on experience with kitchen equipment, ensuring its correct and safe use.
  • Learn to manage time efficiently during peak service hours while maintaining high food quality.
  • Support the team in understanding food cost control, portion sizes, and kitchen budget management.
Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • EU Nationality is required.
  • Fluent English and Spanish. Other Languages is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is a plus.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary techniques.
  • Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a focus on delivering quality dishes.
  • Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.

About the role Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is seeking a dynamic Commis Waiter to join our ISA Restaurant team! As our Restaurant Commis Waiter /Waitress, you will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant team to provide impeccable service at all times to guests. The Restaurant Commis Waiter will thoroughly understand Four Seasons quality standards in food presentation, beverage and service and implement them. The Restaurant Commis Waiter will carry trays with food, drinks and dishes to and from the kitchen as well as serve beverages and other food items when required. What you will do Assist with setting up and clearing tables before, during, and after service Support the service team by delivering food and beverages promptly and professionally Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all service areas Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow Uphold Four Seasons standards while learning and growing in your role What you bring A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills A willingness to learn and grow within a luxury environment Proficiency in spoken English The Right to Work in the UK What we offer: Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.
