¿Eres un apasionado de la cocina? ¿Te gustaría formar parte de un equipo comprometido con ofrecer una experiencia única en un entorno exclusivo? En Pure Salt Luxury Hotels estamos ampliando el equipo y buscamos un nuevo/a Pizzaiolo/a para nuestro Restaurante Trattoria L'Arcada.


Responsabilidades:


Como Pizzaiolo/a, deberás desarrollar los procesos de pre elaboración, preparación y presentación de los productos de pizzería y conservación de los alimentos necesarios, aplicando las técnicas correspondientes y cumpliendo los estándares de calidad, las normas y prácticas de seguridad e higiene en la manipulación alimentaria.


Tareas y deberes:


  • Selección de las materias primas adecuadas para la elaboración de la pizza.
  • Elaboración de diferentes tipos de masas administrando la proporción de ingredientes necesarios y los justos tiempos de reposo para lograr un grado óptimo de fermentación.
  • Preparación de diferentes tipos de bases.
  • Limpieza e higienización de los ingredientes.
  • Formado de la pizza a partir de la masa necesaria para conseguir el diámetro, peso y grosor adecuados.
  • Introducción y retirada de la pizza del horno controlando el tiempo y la temperatura de cocción.
  • Dominio de las técnicas de cocción en los diferentes tipos de horno (gas, leña, eléctrico).
  • Preparación y mantenimiento operativo de los equipos de producción, cocción, conservación y herramental auxiliar.
  • Control de las normas de seguridad, higiene y limpieza en el trabajo, y la conservación y el almacenaje de las materias primas.
  • Diseño de nuevos tipos de pizzas atendiendo los gustos y demandas de los clientes.


Requisitos

Perfil del candidato/a:


Buscamos a un/a profesional con un fuerte sentido de la hospitalidad y con experiencia en el sector de gran lujo. Los requisitos mínimos son:


  • Mínimo 1 año de experiencia en posiciones similares dentro del sector de la hostelería.
  • Certificado de Profesionalidad de la Familia Profesional de Hotelería y Turismo o algún estudio relacionado.
  • Preocupación por el orden, atención al detalle, la limpieza, la calidad, trabajo en equipo e iniciativa.
  • Proactividad, iniciativa, gestión del tiempo, flexibilidad y trabajo en equipo.
  • Pasión por el servicio y búsqueda constante de la mejora en la experiencia del cliente.

Contributes to ensuring ingredient quality, checking deliveries to ensure that ingredients are fresh, quantities are correct and that ingredients are properly stored and accessible to chefs. Ensures proper portion control, minimising food wastage whilst consistently delivering high-quality dishes. Assists in quality control by inspecting all dishes before they are served, ensuring they meet our standards of presentation and taste. Adheres to all kitchen procedures and guidelines, including cooking techniques, plating standards and recipe specifications. Trains and mentors junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning, teamwork and excellence. Upholds a positive and professional attitude, leading by example in terms of punctuality, work ethic and teamwork. Collaborates with the front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and address any customer feedback or special requests. Carries out other job-related duties as required.

POSITION SUMMARY Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor. Wash and disinfect kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock. Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas. Use detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes. Inspect, pull, and stack cleaned items, send soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing. Rack and spray all racked items with hot water to loosen and remove food residue. Sort, soak, and wash/re-wash silverware. Breakdown dirty bus tubs. Empty and maintain trashcans and dumpster area. Clean and mop all areas in assigned departments. Dispose of glass in the proper containers. Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycle bin. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
