We are looking for an Assistant Maitre D' who is passionate about hospitality, attention to detail, and leadership skills to support the operational management of our restaurants. This person will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by ensuring team coordination and close collaboration with the kitchen and other departments.


Responsabilities:


  • Assist the Head Maitre D’ in managing and supervising daily restaurant operations
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to the team to ensure an efficient workflow
  • Ensure the waitstaff is well informed about menus, promotions, and special events
  • Oversee dining room setup before service and ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the area
  • Guarantee service standards are met in our restaurants and bars, and ensure the team maintains a professional attitude
  • Support shift planning and adjust operations based on resort occupancy, as well as assist in staff performance evaluations
  • Participate in staff training and development, ensuring all team members are trained in service techniques and protocols
  • Supervise administrative tasks in coordination with HR and Administration
  • Collaborate in planning special events and services within the resort
  • Evaluate team members when needed and report any cases requiring warnings, disciplinary actions, or performance improvement plans (PIPs)
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally
  • Ensure the restaurant complies with all food safety and health regulations
  • Identify opportunities to improve and optimize service delivery
  • Actively contribute to the resort’s sustainability plans and involve the team in achieving goals
  • Support inventory management, including overseeing supplies and placing orders as needed
  • Foster a positive and motivating work environment for the team
  • Assist the Head Maitre D’ in preparing reports and managing daily operations
<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in Food &amp; Beverage or related roles in a high-end restaurant or hotel</li><li>Excellent communication and team leadership skills</li><li>Strong focus on customer service and problem-solving</li><li>Team player with solid organizational abilities</li><li>In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and service standards in the industry</li><li>Responsible and proactive attitude</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software</li><li>Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>High proficiency in English and Spanish; German or another language is a plus</li><li>Formal training in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is a plus</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours, including weekends and holidays</li></ul>

Coordinar y supervisar servicios en ausencia de los responsables manteniendo siempre mantener la máxima atención y preocupación por el cliente y por solventar cualquier incidencia. Colaborar en la gestión financiera y control para lograr los objetivos económicos de la empresa. Colaborar en los procesos de comunicación con todas las áreas de la compañía. Potenciar las comunicaciones internas dentro de su perímetro y apoyar al despliegue de éstas de forma proactiva. Supervisar la formación continua del equipo y fomentar un ambiente de trabajo motivador. Desarrollar plenamente y de forma modélica las funciones de los puestos de trabajo bajo su supervisión. Asegurar el cumplimiento de los criterios ESG y de Sostenibilidad de la compañía.
