About the role Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is currently seeking a Cost Controller to join our team. Reporting to the Performance Optimization Assistant Manager, this position will monitor and control all procedures that affect the receipt, issuance, general controls and sales of food and beverage in the hotel and to ensure that all control functions are established and enforced according to Four Seasons Hotel Ltd. policies and procedures. What you will do Establish and maintain local policies as they relate to the receipt, issuance and general controls of food and beverage. Monitor daily revenues and costs and prepare a daily and month to date Food and Beverage Cost Report as prescribed in the Accounting and Finance Manual. Monitor and record all house account meals and entertainment expenses (80-20 rule) and report any non-compliance to the Assistant Director of Finance for follow-up with the hotel management. Maintain up-to-date meat specifications and perform regular yield tests to ensure vendor compliance. Maintain menu costings on all food and beverage items and make F & B Management aware of any pricing problems. Constantly monitor all food and beverage controls to ensure compliance with Four Season Hotels Ltd. policies and procedures. Perform any other spot-checks as prescribed in the Food and Beverage Control Manual. Coordinate, attend and monitor all food and beverage, spa and guest supplies inventories to ensure accuracy. Verify, extend and tabulate the above inventories and prepare the monthly inventory adjustments journal entry. Prepare comprehensive Food and Beverage Control Report by the 10th day of the following month. Maintain a close working relationship with the Food & Beverage Director, Executive Chef and Director of Purchasing and make them aware of any potential problems or opportunities to improve the controls in their areas as they relate to food and beverage. Attend Food & Beverage Meeting to review prior month's Food & Beverage report to highlight actions needed, and focus Food & Beverage management on appropriate opportunities. Conduct self in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons and encourage staff to do the same. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Finance, to include a participative role in Operating Equipment inventory taking. Prepare P&L for specific events to analyze profitability. What you bring Must have a thorough working knowledge of all corporate policies and procedures as they relate to Food and Beverage Control. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish major responsibilities and tasks. Must be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. What we are looking for We are looking for a passionate hospitality student eager to start his career path in F&B division (outlet TBC). You will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in this field, learning at different levels of responsibility and working in team. As an intern, you will contribute your passion, drive and ideas to ensure that we offer the highest quality in service to our clients. You will report to the Outlet Manager. The main duties will include: Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues. About the role Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is currently seeking a Front Office Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the Front Office Manager provides strategic and operational leadership for Front Office, Guest Services, and Guest Experience. The role ensures service excellence, team development, and operational efficiency, consistently embodying Four Seasons culture and standards. What you will do Strategic Leadership Set the strategic and operational direction for Front Office, Guest Services, and Guest Experience in alignment with the Rooms Director, ensuring consistent execution of Four Seasons standards. Talent & Team Development Provide strong, inspirational leadership through coaching, feedback, development plans, succession planning and the creation of a robust internal talent pipeline. Recruitment & Performance Management Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations for the Front Desk, Concierge, Guest Services, and Guest Experience teams. Quality & Performance Optimization Establish KPIs, service benchmarks, and quality standards, continuously identifying opportunities to elevate the guest experience and operational results. Guest Journey Excellence Ensure flawless check-in and check-out experiences and drive proactive service recovery to maintain the highest levels of guest satisfaction. Operational Presence Maintain strong visibility on the floor, especially during peak periods, personally engaging with VIPs, repeat guests, long-stay guests, and first-time visitors. Cross‑Departmental Collaboration Build strong relationships with all Rooms Division teams and hotel departments to ensure seamless and consistent service delivery. Cost & Labour Management Manage labour and operating costs through effective scheduling, budgeting, inventory control, and purchasing, ensuring optimal productivity and financial discipline. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Lead or participate in departmental or hotel-wide projects and initiatives that support innovation, efficiency, and ongoing improvement. What you bring Proven leadership experience in a luxury 5-star hotel environment, overseeing Front Desk, Guest Relations, and Guest Experience operations. Authentic and strategic leadership style with the ability to coach, inspire, and develop high‑performing teams. Deep understanding of luxury service principles with exceptional attention to detail and a guest‑centric mindset. Positive, resilient, and solutions-driven character, able to thrive in a dynamic and demanding environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging guests, colleagues, and senior leadership. Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and delegation skills. Solid business acumen with experience in labour management, cost control, budgeting, and P&L awareness. Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
