Develop the necessary market segments by executing strategies agreed by the GC&E Manager and the Director of Sales. Planning and Organising: Run a culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, customer service and keep a pre-event arrival experience up to the standards (i.e. close menus, attendees, program, rooming list and link if needed) Follows the Team performance on necessary procedures for the pre, during and post event. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, I am also responsible for conducting regular inspections to ensure that standards are being met. I am able to identify areas that need attention and make recommendations for improvement. I have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. I am able to work well under pressure and am able to juggle multiple tasks at once. I supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants, valets, stockers, public area cleaners, and floor supervisors. I am managing and directing the day-to-day operations of all Housekeeping and laundry functions. As Sales Coordinator, Under the general direction of the Commercial Director or his/her delegate, and within the limits of the established IHG and local Hotel policies and procedures, is responsible for booking and servicing group enquiries while providing exceptional customer service to guests and clients of the Hotel.
