    POSITION SUMMARY Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key. Work tactically with the Director of Revenue Management and Director of Marketing to ensure a strategically symbolic relationship between all disciplines. * Primary point of contact on all sales and marketing issues for the General Manager, Owner, Group Sales Team and Area Commercial Leader * Developing sales goals and strategies in alignment with the overall business strategy and being responsible for all proactive and reactive (event sales) sales activities as well as for the reservation department * Analyzing market and economic trends as well as competitors to continuously strengthen the own position in the market * Point of contact for customers, participating in sales calls to acquire new business and/or close deals, and building long-term, value-based customer relationships * Developing strong partnerships and collaborations with local and international organizations to further increase brand/product awareness, participating in customer events, and trade shows * Budget planning and controlling * Goal setting and performance evaluation of direct team members, as well as coaching and development meetings Your day-to-day * Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to the sales team, continually assessing their strengths and challenges and ensure they are equipped to achieve their targets. * Knowledgeable of competitive set and recommends sales/pricing strategies, service, and product improvements to stay competitive. * Responsible for achieving the Hotel revenue budget for hotel. * Responsible for appropriate identification of key markets and supporting deployment and travel schedule strategies. * Monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, and forecasting. * Responsible for management of departmental budgets including forecasting monthly expenses and explanation of variances on P&L. * Creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food and beverage and banquet sales * Producing and reviewing monthly reports to monitor performance * Conducting market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor strategies. Using this information to inform commercial decisions and stay ahead of the competition. What we need from you * Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration or Hotel Management * Minimum of 5 years of sales Experience in senior positions * An open and proactive mind-set, flexibility and courage to embrace change and to always challenge the status quo in order to optimize processes. * Solution- and result-oriented approach * Strong communication skills Spanish and English. * Leadership skills to encourage, lead and develop a team by example. * Customer-oriented approach, always focusing on the needs of the guest and the customer * Knowledge of overall hotel revenue management concepts, processes and strategies * Financial resource management, ability to analyse profit and loss (P&L) statements, develop operating budgets and revenue targets, forecast and plan capital expenditures * Ability to adapt rapidly to evolving market dynamics and needs. * Ability to convert vision into specific and tangible actions. * Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of integrity. Tu día a día * Dar una cálida bienvenida a todo el mundo y marcar el tono para la experiencia de cada huésped. * Describir la selección de bebidas y platos del menú a los huéspedes, ofreciendo descripciones interesantes y detalladas sobre el origen, sabor y métodos de preparación de cada uno. * Preparar tu punto de venta: asegurarte de tener todo el material necesario y gestionar el inventario. * Asegurar que siempre haya stock suficiente de comida y bebida. * Garantizar la limpieza y el mantenimiento general del área de trabajo. * Estar preparado/a para echar una mano en otras tareas cuando tus compañeros/as lo necesiten, lo que puede incluir servicio a habitaciones, bar o terraza. * Colaborar con el equipo de restaurante y cocina para ofrecer un servicio de comida sin interrupciones. * Evaluar las necesidades y preferencias de los clientes y hacer recomendaciones. * Informar y hacer seguimiento del mantenimiento, reparaciones y limpieza del bar. * Cerrar correctamente y con precisión las cuentas de los clientes; procesar pagos en efectivo o con tarjeta; gestionar adecuadamente consumiciones anuladas o artículos de cortesía. Lo que necesitamos de ti * Más de 2 años de experiencia trabajando en hotel/restaurante. * Grado universitario o Formación Profesional en hostelería o campo relacionado. * Imprescindible hablar con fluidez español e inglés; otros idiomas serán muy valorados. * Proactividad, actitud positiva, energía, dinamismo, trabajo en equipo y pasión por el servicio.
