    What is the role about? As a Cook, your passion for creating visually appealing and delicious dishes will ensure our guests enjoy an outstanding experience every time they visit our restaurants.     FOOD & BEVERAGE DIVISION In order to get a clear overview what positions offered as a trainee, we have created a list of the departments within the F&B Division. Please be reminded that this information serves as a guide. During the first day at the hotel, the welcome day, you will have an interview with your divisional leader. After this interview, the divisional leader will decide in which department you would develop your skills best. While considering your profile, the divisional leader will place you in a department where you will have a great impact. Furthermore, you will have opportunities for lateral service, which gives you the change to develop your talents in other departments. F&B Tasks: Greet and escort customers to their tables, present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies), prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses, inform customers about the day’s specials, offer menu recommendations upon request, up-sell additional products when appropriate, take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization, communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff, arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area, deliver checks and collect bill payments, meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties), etc. ENOTECA: Our two Michelin star restaurant Enoteca, overseen by renowned Catalan chef Paco Pérez. Inspired by the food and produce of the Mediterranean, an innovative cooking brings out the essence of high quality local ingredients, with an emphasis on fish and seafood. BITES: Our chic and relaxed Bites Restaurant, offers fast and informal dishes so that guests can enjoy a delicious meal at any time of the day, while our excellent team of Ladies take genuine care of our guests. MARINA: Marina restaurant is the star of the summer season! Offering light, informal meals in the open air, and being a challenging outlet where efficiency and sympathy are key to guests. Culinary tasks: Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales, study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients, cook food in a timely manner, ensure appealing plate presentation, slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy, monitor food stock and place orders, check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items, ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area ENOTECA: Award winning two Michelin Star restaurant where Chef Paco Pérez offers a super menu of Mediterranean specialties and wine cellar with over 500 references. BITES: Chic, restaurant for fast, informal food at any time of the day specialized in coffee. LOKAL: An exquisite breakfast served every day.
