As Assistant Manager of Guest Experience, you will support the overall department leadership, ensure flawless operational execution, and help shape elevated, personalized moments for every guest.

Your responsibilities will include…

    • Leadership & Operations
      • Support the Guest Experience Manager in the daily coordination of the department and team supervision.
      • Oversee key arrival, stay and departure operations to ensure seamless, personalized and luxury‑driven experiences.
      • Ensure consistent application of protocols, processes and brand standards, acting as the operational reference point in the absence of the Manager.
      Guest Engagement
      • Welcome, escort and proactively follow up with VIPs, returning guests and those with special stays.
      • Ensure personalized gestures, recognition and special amenities are executed at the highest standard.
      • Serve as the escalation point for complex guest issues, resolving each situation with empathy, discretion and efficiency.
      Experience Design & Personalization
      • Guarantee accurate updates of guest preferences, profiles and key information in internal systems.
      • Assist in the creation, coordination and execution of bespoke experiences, surprises and thoughtful touches that create “wow moments.”
      • Monitor guest satisfaction through surveys, direct feedback and internal platforms, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
      Cross-Department Collaboration
      • Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa and other departments to ensure frictionless experiences throughout the stay.
      • Participate in the planning and follow‑up of interdepartmental initiatives that impact the overall guest journey.
      Administrative & Team Support
      • Support in preparing reports, operational analyses, inventories and weekly/monthly department planning.
      • Participate in the training, coaching and ongoing development of the Guest Experience team.

What we are looking for…

    • Natural, empathetic and inspiring leadership.
    • Previous experience in Guest Experience, Guest Relations, Front Office or similar roles, ideally within luxury hospitality.
    • Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with elegance and accuracy.
    • Strong teamwork spirit, positive attitude and commitment to The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards.
    • Fluency in English and Spanish; German or other languages will be a strong advantage.
    • Valid work permit for Spain.

Principales funciones y responsabilidades: · Cumplir con los procedimientos operativos de su departamento. · Seguimiento y actualización de las preferencias de los clientes vía las herramientas en sistema (Profiles Notes, GEM Notes, Traces, Alerts). · Preasignación de habitaciones VIP, peticiones de amenities, Preparación de listado VIP y cartas de bienvenida. · Responder a cualquier pregunta, necesidad y deseo de los huéspedes y hacer un seguimiento de los mismos para garantizar que sus solicitudes se hayan atendido satisfactoriamente. · Esperar y reaccionar con prontitud a los requisitos y consultas de los huéspedes, como peticiones especiales. · Escuchar y resolver activamente las quejas de los huéspedes y realizar el seguimiento. · Supervisar y coordinar todas las llegadas y salidas de invitados especiales (VIP, Globalist, etc.) · Coordinar y gestionar la comunicación entre los huéspedes y el personal. · Dirigir y gestionar para garantizar que se cumplan todos los estándares y procedimientos operativos. · Control de paquetería y objetos de olvido junto con recepción y housekeeping. · Gestionar el envío de olvidos. · Revisión del Regency Club y reportar a F&B y áreas nobles las necesidades de limpieza y reposición. · Entablar conversación con los huéspedes en Regency Club. · Dar la bienvenida a los clientes VIP. · Incentivar a los huéspedes a compartir la valoración de sus experencias en el hotel. · Fomentar el contacto pre-estancia para detectar preferencias y ofrecer servicios internos y externos. · Coordinar los servicios externos ofrecidos a los clientes (transfers, visitas, excursiones, etc.). · Mantener el orden en el espacio de trabajo y asegurar el correcto archivo de la documentación departamental e informes de comunicación y servicios al cliente.
