Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary! Job Description What you’ll do... We are looking for a Bell Services Intern to join the SLS Barcelona team. Under the guidance of the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to guests as they arrive and leave the hotel, assisting with their luggage and valet parking, as well as other requests as needed upon arrival and departure. You will: Greet arriving guests warmly and escort them to their rooms while assisting with luggage. Provide incoming guests with key hotel information (storage, restaurant hours, events, emergency exits) en route to their room. Orient guests in their rooms on telephone use, room charging, HVAC, laundry, keycards, and room directory. Manage all valet parking needs, including safe vehicle handling and prompt retrieval. Assist with check-out luggage collection and transport coordination. Offer general hotel and local information/directions when Front Desk is unavailable. Maintain a visible, welcoming presence in the lobby as a brand ambassador. Promote hotel facilities, functions, and resort activities to enhance guest experience. Keep lobby, valet, and bell areas neat, clean, and organized for guests and colleagues. Support Front Office team by responding promptly to guest requests and coordinating as needed. Qualifications What we are looking for... You’re studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in hospitality or a related field. You have the possibility to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 4-6 months. You have proficient knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook. You hold a valid B driving license. Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain high-level attention to detail. Excellent verbal communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages highly valuable. Proactive, positive, energetic, empathetic team player with a passion for hospitality. Under the guidance of the Call Center Manager, you will provide support in ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all guests while maintaining the property’s service standards. You will: Answer internal and external phone calls promptly and courteously. Manage guest requests during their stay, providing accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and schedules. Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, etc.) to ensure timely fulfillment of guest needs. Record, track, and dispatch requests to the relevant departments. Handle Room Service, wake-up calls, voicemail, and restaurant/spa reservation requests. Redirect calls or inquiries to the appropriate department when needed.     ROLE OVERVIEW As a Group Sales Executive, you will support the Group Sales Director and collaborate closely with the field sales team to convert enquiries into confirmed business. You will manage group enquiries from assigned geographic markets, maximizing rooms and banqueting revenue while ensuring a seamless handover to the Convention Services team. This role requires high energy, strong customer focus, and a passion for delivering the W experience. RESPONSABILITIES Sales & Client Management Conduct site inspections for prospective and tentative group bookings. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, meeting planners, corporate accounts, and organizations. Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through ongoing direct sales efforts. Respond to all enquiries within 24 hours, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction. Collaborate with GSOs, Convention Bureaus, third‑party partners, and internal stakeholders to drive revenue. Target and achieve personal and hotel revenue goals. Negotiate contracts and use creative selling techniques to secure high‑value opportunities. Promote MI Leads (cross‑selling tool) and maintain strong knowledge of the Marriott Loyalty Program. Participate in sales trainings and departmental meetings. Reservations & Guest Services Process all reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received by phone, email, or fax.
