About the role: We are currently looking for a talented and dynamic LATAM Sales Manager based in Madrid to join our team, to promote and sell to Leisure and Group market in the geographic region of Mexico and LATAM representing Four Seasons Hotel Madrid. The purpose of this position is to uncover, prospect and secure Leisure and Group business, in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan and ensure that all sales quotas are met. What you will do: Execute all sales efforts, including responding to general inquiries and client requests in a timely manner. Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all personal sales calls. Actively solicit and book group and transient business from various sources of leads. Conduct all sales-related interactions with the highest level of professionalism, maintaining Four Seasons standards. Coordinate and confirm customer events, sales appointments, site visits, and Fam Trips. Develop creative and attractive presentations for potential clients. Develop and execute strategic projects for Mexico and LATAM to increase volume and profitability in both segments. Delegate property tours to meeting planners, travel agents, and potential clients, while maintaining clear communication with the Sales Team. Pre-plan special inspections, pre-planning trips, and program execution as needed. Collaborate with Conference Services and Catering to execute confirmed programs and ensure all stakeholders are fully informed for timely action. Negotiate contract terms to maximize profitability while meeting client needs. Utilize account management systems effectively, meeting Four Seasons standards, and maintain deep knowledge of local and regional competitors. Meet annual sales targets and ensure monthly sales activities are planned and achieved. Provide input on the marketing plan and budget. Promote and sell to group and leisure markets in the assigned region through direct client engagement, phone and in-person sales, trade shows, and networking events. Align group bookings and sales activities with transient demand to optimize RevPAR. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to achieve budgeted sales goals, What you bring: 3 to 5 years of experience in luxury hotel sales, ideally as a Sales Manager or in a similar role. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in virtual and in-person presentations. Familiarity with Salesforce, Opera, and/or other CRM systems. Working knowledge of hotel operations and revenue management. Strong attention to detail and a service mindset tailored to high-expectation clients. Flexibility to work variable hours based on business needs, including travel. Independent judgment and discretion in decision-making, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through on additional responsibilities assigned by leadership. A degree in Hospitality Management is preferred but not required with relevant experience. About the role Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Hotel Assistant Manager for our team. Candidates with a passion for excellence, proven leadership experience are invited to apply. Oversees the Front Desk operations and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available. Directs staff that performs the following duties and will also perform these duties on own: welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. This position reports to the Front Office Manager, as well to the Front Desk Manager. What you will do Manages the staff at the Front Desk. Interviews, trains and schedules the staff. Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. Coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department. Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved. Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups. Trains, develops and manages the performance of direct subordinates to ensure the efficient running of front office operations. Maximizes hotel revenue by controlling room inventory, group blocking, packages, up selling and reinforcing the late charge policy to maximize REVPAR. Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follows up on credit problems with Front Office Manager and/or Credit Manager. Reviews all paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements and Direct Billings. Checks cashiers’ work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements. Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available. Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation. Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone. Checks guest in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest. Checks out guest at end of stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction. Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, runs daily reports, selects and block rooms for arriving guests. Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, supervisors and GSAs. Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator. Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management and is also able to work in all shifts including night shift. Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Guest Relations and lobby coverage. Works closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests. Works closely with Housekeeping team to ensure smooth handling of room allocation, balance inventory and room is met with guest’s preference and ready for check in upon arrival. Works closely with Engineering to ensure for the completion of any guest’s related maintenance issues are resolved and control room preventive maintenance program. What you bring Our ideal Hotel Assistant Manager have a firm knowledge of hotel operations and must at least 1 year of experience as Assistant Manager in Rooms Division. Candidates must speak read and write Spanish as well as being fluent in English. Must have the right to work in Spain .
