The Role of Host/ess: Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a host/ess to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for excellence and great enthusiasm in providing exceptional service standards. The main duties to perform are: Set up the host/hostess stand. Review the reservation book. Make recommendations as to the set-up of the restaurant. Welcome the guests at the restaurant. Take and handle reservations. Check emails and replay back. Check and handle the restaurant menus. Communicate with her colleagues and managers all the guests needs and requests. Handle restaurant floor plan. Reporting to our IT Assistant Director of TID and the Senior Director of TID, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the daily IT operation for the hotel. The Role of Hotel Assistant Manager: Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Hotel Assistant Manager for our team. Candidates with a passion for excellence, proven leadership experience are invited to apply. Oversees the Front Desk operations and acts as the manager on duty in the hotel when senior managers are not available. Directs staff that performs the following duties and will also perform these duties on own: welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. What you will do: Payroll Management: Support Assistant Director of Finance with labor cost analysis and productivity monitoring, helping to ensure that staffing levels align with operational needs and financial targets Analyze month end reports for Payroll, providing insights that help inform strategic decisions for the future. Participate in bi-weekly payroll forecast and analyze variances comparing with budget and previous forecast. Assist in month end process, accruals and payroll journals. Support the preparation and processing of the organization’s payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations. Review payroll reports and reconciliations; resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Work closely with HR and department managers, to provide guidance on labor-related data, helping to interpret figures and recommend actionable improvements Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal standards related to compensation, benefits, and deductions. Collaborate with HR on employee onboarding, offboarding, and compensation changes, ensuring calculations are accurate. Support employees with salaries queries Accounting Support Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards are in place. • Provide support in the day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations. Support the Accounts Receivable process by reviewing billing, monitoring aging reports, and assisting in collections efforts as needed. Assist in daily income auditing to verify that all revenue is accurately reported, and follow up on discrepancies or variances. Collaboration & Communication: Act as a key liaison between the finance department and other operational departments, ensuring clear communication and responsive support. Foster a collaborative, respectful work environment and provide mentorship to junior finance team members. Participate in internal audits and assist in implementing recommendations for process improvement. Assist in preparing documentation and reports for external auditors or regulatory bodies. What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong understanding of payroll systems, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
