What we are looking for We are looking for a passionate hospitality student eager to start his career path in F&B division, particularly in the area of IRD. You will have the opportunity to be fully immersed in this field, learning at different levels of responsibility and working in team. As a Room Service Intern , you will support the In-Room Dining team in delivering exceptional guest experiences, you will contribute your passion, drive and ideas to ensure that we offer the highest quality in service to our clients. Your main responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and delivery of food and beverage orders to guest rooms, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Help with the set-up and clearing of trays and tables in rooms, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Support in coordinating orders, communicating with the kitchen and service team to ensure timely delivery. Communicate with guests to ensure their satisfaction with the food and service. Learn to handle basic guest requests and follow up to guarantee satisfaction. Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Room Service area and storage. About you Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional service according to standards are highly valued. This position does require an applicant with a flexible schedule, able to work morning and afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays. The ability to multitask is required. Previous experience in a 5 start hotel is recommended. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Spain and be fluent in both English and Spanish. It is mandatory to be able to sign an internship agreement with your university or school for a period of 6 months on a full-time basis. What we offer Through this internship opportunity, we aim to provide a high-level learning experience. The goal is for you to acquire as many competencies as possible, in an environment of excellence and continuous improvement. This opportunity includes: Full-time internship for 6 months (40 hours/week), Monday to Sunday (8 hours/day) and a 30-minute lunch break is included in the working day. Meals are provided during the shift. Uniform and its cleaning are provided by the hotel. We offer 5 vacation days during the 6-month internship period, as well as your birthday off. What you bring: At least 2 years of Concierge experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Extensive knowledge of the local area and local attractions, restaurants, and special exhibits. Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera and HotSOS preferred/is a plus. The Role of Commis Pastry : The Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Commis Pastry to join our team. The Commis Pastry is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. The Commis Pastry prepares guests dessert orders from all outlets in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Prepare pastry items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mis en place and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment, including, food processor, mixer, oven. Maintain a clean and efficient station. What you will do • Answer and manage incoming telephone calls related to the F&B department, providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service. • Reconfirm guest reservations for all F&B outlets, ensuring all details are correct and special requests are noted and communicated. • Manage the F&B department email inbox: handle guest inquiries, provide information, and coordinate with internal departments as needed. • Prepare and send proposals for group bookings at Dani Brasserie, tailoring responses to guest needs and expectations. • Coordinate group bookings at Dani Brasserie, including: Creating and maintaining detailed event orders (BEOs/minutas). Communicating dietary restrictions and guest preferences to the culinary team. Acting as the liaison between service, kitchen, and events teams to ensure flawless execution. • Perform proactive tasks to enhance the overall guest experience by anticipating needs, offering personalized touches, and delivering thoughtful service that exceeds expectations. • Support the wider F&B team with administrative duties and special projects. • Provide support to the host/hostess team on the floor as needed.
